Here’s a riddle for you—why is it that every time we face a choice, we stress ourselves out, consult everyone but God, and then, as the new-age folks would say, “crash out”? Yet somehow, against all odds, it all works out in the end, and, Boom, we’re back on the move, chasing the next big thing…. Hey, I can talk about it because I do it all the time okay.
Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to five you a future and a hope”.
We’ve got the victory—yeah, we won the war! Now, nobody said the battles would be easy; some days might knock you back. But here’s the news flash you need: You are a winner, baby.
I can hear you already—“Dr. K, I get it, but in the heat of the moment…”.
Trust me, I feel you. So, let’s break down some real ways to weather the storm and keep pushing forward until sweet victory.
Control what you can: Remember, you already won—so keep your eyes on what you can control. Stressing over things outside your power? Nah, that’s a waste of energy. You can’t change them anyway, so why not just relax, take a deep breath, and grab yourself a nice cup of tea? Sometimes, that’s exactly what winning looks like.
Get a hobby: Find yourself an activity that melts stress away. For me? I’m all about hiking — nothing beats exploring new trails around my area and soaking in nature’s vibes. What’s your thing? Whatever it is, discover it, dive into it. Thank me later
Worry no more: Just stop. Stop the worry. Stop the stress. Stop the “oh my gosh” spiral. Hit the pause button and rewire your mind to zero in on the positive. Take little moments throughout your day to be grateful for what you do have—and stay in prayer for your desires. You’ve got this.
Pause. Breathe. A gentle whisper of wisdom-
“You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win”
